## Description

The European International Studies Association (EISA) is an academic association supporting an international community of scholars and researchers in international studies. It offers membership throughout the year, with 12-, 24- and 36-month options, and provides members with access to community activities, events, funding opportunities and professional development.

EISA organises conferences and other gatherings, including the Pan-European Conference on International Relations (PEC), the European Workshops in International Studies (EWIS), online events and exploratory symposia. It also supports scholarship through the European Journal of International Relations, the SAGE Collection and the EISA-OUP Voices in International Relations book series, alongside a podcast. Funding programmes include a Mobility Fund for conference participants, Postdoctoral Bridge Grants and dissertation fieldwork support. Early-career researchers can access development resources, workshops and events. EISA also recognises academic contributions through awards for academic freedom, dissertations, graduate papers and articles in its journal. By combining research dissemination, funding, events and professional support, the association helps connect and develop the international studies community.
