Founded in 2011 by Andreas Kwiatkowski in Cologne, Germany, Eisenhower started as a side project. However, thanks to the support of its users, it quickly grew into something much bigger.

The first web prototype was launched in December 2011, followed by the iOS app in September 2012. Today, Eisenhower continues to evolve, offering a range of products including a free Eisenhower Matrix canvas template, a paper notepad edition, and more. As a bootstrapped and part-time venture, Eisenhower is run by Andreas Kwiatkowski while he works at trivago during the day.
