Eesti Keele Instituut, also known as the Institute of the Estonian Language, is a state research and development institution dedicated to preserving the Estonian language throughout history. Our main focus is on studying contemporary Estonian language, the history of the language, Estonian dialects, and Finno-Ugric cognate languages.
