It focuses on private forests, which cover 1.78 million hectares, or 19.3% of Poland’s forest area. The association brings stakeholders together, comments on proposed legislation in the Sejm and Senate, and developed a proposal for Forest Chambers: a form of self-government intended to represent private forest owners and support forest management.
