## Description

El Cielo de Canarias is a visual and audiovisual project by Daniel López, dedicated to capturing the distinctive landscapes and night skies of the Canary Islands. Drawing on the islands’ exceptional conditions for astronomical observation, the project showcases the beauty of the heavens through nature photography, astrophotography and time-lapse imagery. Its portfolio ranges from nocturnal and daytime landscapes to images of galaxies and nebulae, as well as scenes from other locations, including Iceland.

The project also provides image and video production services, managing work from planning and filming through editing and final assembly. Its offerings include documentaries, audiovisual productions and time-lapse videos, alongside photography and other commissioned visual work. El Cielo de Canarias presents selected projects, exhibitions and media appearances, and shares articles and updates about its work. It also offers workshops that teach participants how to create photographs and time-lapse videos. The website features collaborations and projects with organisations including the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias, as well as commercial work such as a time-lapse video made with a Xiaomi smartphone. Images and videos are attributed to Daniel López, with use requests handled by contacting the creator.
