The Eldercare Workforce Alliance is a coalition of 31 national organizations dedicated to addressing the pressing workforce crisis in caring for an aging America. Our mission is to build a compassionate and skilled workforce that can provide quality care for all seniors. To achieve this, we focus on recruitment, retention, training, and compensation issues across the eldercare workforce.

We also provide valuable information and support to consumers and family caregivers. With the retirement of the baby boomers and the increasing life expectancy, there is an urgent need to invest in primary care providers and family caregivers who play a vital role in providing high-quality care to older Americans. We advocate for increased investments in training geriatric health professionals and direct-care workers, as well as increased federal funding.
