## Description

The Association of National Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC) is a pivotal organization dedicated to advancing economic discussion and education within Cuba. Its flagship publication, "El Economista de Cuba," covers a wide array of topics including local and global economic issues, agricultural production, entrepreneurial initiatives, and financial regulations. ANEC promotes dialogue through special events, such as the upcoming “COOPERAT 2024,” which focuses on cooperatives, and the “Primer Encuentro de Empresarios” aimed at fostering connections among business leaders.

Additionally, ANEC offers valuable resources through online courses and seminars, particularly addressing regulations pertinent to non-state economic actors. The association actively engages with challenges such as digital payments in commerce and its ongoing efforts against economic blockades. Through informative newsletters and a commitment to transparency, ANEC plays an essential role in shaping economic policies and providing a platform for the voices of Cuban entrepreneurs and economists. Its dedication to fostering a robust economic dialogue underlines its importance in the Cuban economic landscape.
