## Description

Electronic Picnic Festival is a community-minded summer festival associated with Leeghwaterpark in Purmerend, the Netherlands. Over 15 editions, it has brought people together for a welcoming outdoor experience shaped by music, sunny-day energy and a close-knit festival atmosphere. The event’s identity centers on shared enjoyment, lively beats and the memories created among visitors and friends.

The festival website provides practical information for attendees, including ticket access, festival details and contact information. It also shares ways to revisit past events, such as an aftermovie and collections of festival photographs, allowing visitors to relive the performances and atmosphere and spot themselves or friends. Social media updates help keep the festival community connected.

Electronic Picnic will not take place in 2026 because Leeghwaterpark is due for major redevelopment, including improvements intended to make the park greener and more sustainable. The organizers describe this pause as an opportunity to reflect on past editions, develop ideas and consider future possibilities.
