## Description

Associazione Eleonora Cocchia Vivere a Colori is an Italian nonprofit founded in 2017 in memory of Eleonora, who died at seventeen after facing a rare brain tumour known as DIPG. Started by her parents, Nadia and Luca, together with friends and volunteers, the association aims to turn their loss into hope by supporting people affected by cancer and their families. Its work focuses particularly on scientific research and practical initiatives for children with rare brain tumours. Since 2018, donations have helped fund research projects and purchase innovative equipment for paediatric oncology departments. The association also organises Accendi la vita, an annual charity event in Tradate, featuring concerts, sporting activities, entertainment for children, and displays of vintage cars and motorcycles. Supporters can contribute through donations or by becoming members. The association also offers Eleonora’s story as a book for purchase online, sharing her courage, love of life, and appreciation for everyday achievements. Through fundraising, community events, and these initiatives, Vivere a Colori seeks to provide meaningful support and advance research.
