## Description

Elevation Sled Dogs offers guided dog-sledding and northern lights experiences in the Yukon, based at 229 Takhini River Road near Whitehorse. The company introduces guests to sled dogs, mushing skills and the region’s wilderness, drawing on the expertise of owner and musher Aaron Peck, who has decades of experience and has competed in the Iditarod and Yukon Quest.

Its tours include the Yukon Signature Dog Sledding Experience, where guests can drive a ten-dog team with expert guidance, and the Yukon Husky Express Group Tour, featuring veteran mushers, champion huskies and bannock by the fire. In autumn, visitors can ride behind a 14-dog team on a specially designed cart along colourful trails. Elevation also offers northern lights viewing with huskies at a private wilderness retreat near Whitehorse, as well as vacation packages and combined dog-sledding and aurora experiences. Shuttle options are available for the combined outing, and guests can book tours online. The experiences welcome a range of ages, with specific age limits applying to some tours.
