## Description

Eleven 71 Cigar Cutters is an American maker of handcrafted cigar cutters, created by Richard Meharg in East Tennessee. Inspired by his interest in knives and fine cigars, Meharg set out to make a durable, carefully engineered alternative to cutters he considered cheaply made or unappealing. Each cutter is individually crafted in Roane County, Tennessee, using high-quality materials, with close attention to fit, precision, and detail. The knife-style designs draw on the traditional slip-joint form, updated for cigar use. They do not lock open and are intended to be operated one-handed while the other hand holds the cigar. The company emphasizes long-lasting construction, American manufacturing, and workmanship over speed, and says its cutters can be resharpened. Eleven 71 offers its products for purchase online and presents them as gifts for weddings, holidays, and other special occasions. The brand also shares its work through a workshop gallery and invites customers to make contact for further information. Its focus is a distinctive, functional cigar-cutting tool built with pride in the USA.
