## Description

The Elgiva is a performing arts and entertainment venue in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, serving as a cultural hub for the Chilterns. Supported and run by Chesham Town Council, it aims to enrich the local cultural landscape with a welcoming space for creativity, collaboration and high-quality performance. Its programme brings together local talent and touring performers, with events spanning theatre, comedy, music, dance, film and family entertainment. Audiences can enjoy live shows, seasonal pantomimes, concerts, comedy nights, screenings and other special events, including performances by young local artists. The venue also supports creative participation through outreach activities and the Elgiva Young Company, and provides opportunities for people to get involved as volunteers. In addition to its public programme, The Elgiva offers venue hire and technical facilities for events and performances. Visitors can also make use of the on-site café. By celebrating local talent, promoting inclusivity and bringing people together through shared experiences, The Elgiva connects its community with arts and entertainment throughout the year.
