About
Description
Elijah Family Homes is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting low-income families in Benton and Franklin Counties. They provide safe housing and educational services to support these families in achieving self-sufficiency. Their mission is to foster hope, dignity, and self-sufficiency through stable housing and supportive services for families seeking recovery.
Elijah Family Homes administers two programs to support their mission: The Transition to Success (TTS) program and the Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP). The TTS program offers families safe and affordable housing, along with highly individualized case management services for up to three years. It focuses on developing basic life skills, goal setting, job skills, personal finance, and transitional skills for self-sufficiency.
On the other hand, the PCAP program serves women who used substances during pregnancy. Its primary goal is to prevent the birth of alcohol or drug-exposed children. Similar to the TTS program, it provides support in life skills, goal setting, job skills development, transitional skills, parenting skills, home maintenance, and personal finance.
Elijah Family Homes believes in the worth, value, and deserving nature of all individuals and aims to ensure that all families with children in Benton and Franklin Counties, regardless of their substance abuse history, can contribute uniquely to the community while being self-sufficient and stably housed
