## Description

Pathway Mathematics Academy is a structured mathematics learning provider based in Epsom, Auckland. It helps students build lasting mathematical ability through carefully sequenced programmes, small classes and expert guidance, with an emphasis on understanding, depth and steady progress rather than speed or large volumes of worksheets. Each student begins with a free diagnostic assessment, which helps determine their current level and appropriate learning stage.

The academy offers three stages: Foundations for Years 0–4, Reasoning for Years 5–7, and Advanced Concepts for Years 8–10 and IGCSE students. Lessons develop number sense, core operations, mathematical reasoning and advanced problem-solving, with senior preparation aligned to the New Zealand Curriculum and Cambridge International IGCSE Extended. Class sizes are capped at five or six students, and students receive individual progress tracking. Stage 2 and 3 courses use five-week modules with pre- and post-assessments to guide progression. Sessions include teaching and supervised practice, with homework completed during class. Pathway also provides term and holiday programmes, progress feedback, and resources for families through its blog.
