## Description

ELIXIR Denmark is a Danish partnership that contributes to ELIXIR, an intergovernmental organisation coordinating and sustaining bioinformatics resources across its member states. Through this wider network, researchers in academia and industry can access vital data, tools, standards, computing and training services. ELIXIR Denmark is established by four Danish universities and two institutes, bringing together organisations to support the country’s life science and bioinformatics community.

The partnership leads the community-driven development of bio.tools, an ELIXIR core service that helps users discover bioinformatics tools and related resources. It has also initiated BioGLUE, a project aiming to create a unified Danish infrastructure for seamless data interoperability. Together, these activities focus on making research resources more accessible and enabling data and tools to work effectively across settings. BioGLUE and ELIXIR Denmark receive support from the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The organisation also shares announcements and updates through its news channels, keeping its community informed about developments, services and activities.
