## Description

Peter Elson is a maritime historian whose work connects Liverpool’s maritime heritage with its cultural history. His website brings together information about his writing, public appearances and guided tours, alongside commentary and updates on subjects that matter to him. Elson is also identified as a Beatles biographer and supports the campaign to save the mast and derricks of the former Mersey salvage ship Salvor. He also offers guided tours, with a gallery providing a glimpse of this work, and publishes posts through his “Sounding Off” blog. The site features “Fizz & Ships” among its topics and provides contact details for enquiries. Overall, Peter Elson’s work combines maritime history, Beatles-related heritage and opportunities to explore Liverpool through tours and talks.
