## Description

Emerald Research Ltd (ERL) supports farmers and agronomists in improving crop performance through practical agronomy, crop nutrition and analysis. Its OptiYield® Crop Nutrition Management System combines soil analysis, crop recommendations, nutrition plans and agronomic support to help growers manage crops from establishment through harvest. Services include soil sampling and analysis, leaf tissue and petiole testing, nutrient monitoring, crop assessment and field-specific recommendations. The company also offers foliar nutrients, biostimulants and other crop nutrition products for potatoes and field vegetables.

Emerald Research aims to improve yield, quality and crop value while supporting more sustainable farming. Its approach focuses on optimising nutrient use, strengthening crop growth and resilience, and reducing reliance on conventional fertiliser inputs where possible. The company reports that growers using OptiYield have achieved average marketable-yield increases of 10–25% across crops including potatoes, carrots, beetroot, parsnips, onions, leeks and brassicas. ERL also undertakes research and farm-scale trials into regenerative production and reduced-input methods, working with industry and research partners.
