Emeres is a brand that has revolutionized public safety in the digital age. With a history deeply rooted in the emergency services industry, Emeres has constantly innovated to deliver next-generation solutions. The Emeres team began working together in the 1980s at Positron, and in the 1990s, their leadership spearheaded the creation of the first Computer Telephony application for 911 services. They also launched the first Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) solution called PowerCAD, which brought significant advancements to public safety capabilities. Over the years, Emeres has undergone various acquisitions and expansions. They were acquired by IPC in 2007 and later by Intrado. In 2008, the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) went live with Emeres' PowerCAD 3.0, making it the first CAD system to offer local survivability if disconnected from the WAN. In 2010, Emeres' DispatchNow was deployed in a hosting facility across the USA, serving customers on a subscription basis. They continued expanding their reach internationally by deploying their Softphone and CAD solutions for the Chile Police in 2015. In 2016, Emeres was incorporated by Albert Israel and acquired the rights to the DispatchNow product outside of the USA. This led them to rebrand DispatchNow as Strata and launch the innovative Cirrus Public Safety Platform in the USA by 2023. With a strong commitment to innovation, Emeres aims to provide efficient and effective solutions for public safety agencies across the globe.
