## Description

The Emma Shaw Foundation is a registered charity created in memory of Emma Shaw, who died in 2019 after living with triple-negative breast cancer. Inspired by Emma’s wish to help others, her family, partner and friends established the foundation to support people diagnosed with this cancer and help them make meaningful memories with family and friends during a difficult time.

Working with local hospitals and cancer units, the foundation offers opportunities for rest and shared experiences that can ease some of the stress associated with treatment and procedures. Support may include nights away and day trips in Leicestershire and elsewhere in the UK, as well as treat hampers and other thoughtful gifts. People with a diagnosis can contact the charity directly to make a self-referral, or someone can refer on their behalf.

The foundation also welcomes community support through one-time or monthly donations, including contributions toward treat hampers. Based in Leicester, The Emma Shaw Foundation is guided by trustees and volunteers committed to honouring Emma’s legacy by helping people and their loved ones create lasting memories.
