## Description

Emmette Foundation is a nonprofit charity focused on expanding opportunities and supporting underprivileged communities, particularly in Liberia. Its work is organized around education and scholarships, community and health, and the environment and climate change. The foundation offers or supports training, school assistance, continuing education, academic scholarships, and vocational skills programs intended to help students and community members build sustainable careers. Its community initiatives raise awareness of health issues, gender-based violence, child abuse, drug addiction, crime, and peace. Environmental programs promote greener communities, waste management, pollution reduction, and the protection of habitable land, water, and air.

The foundation invites individuals to contribute through donations, child sponsorship, volunteering, and partnerships. Its campaigns include support for students, a girls’ safehouse, and tree planting, while events and community engagement activities provide additional ways to participate. Emmette Foundation also shares news and educational insights through its website and offers souvenirs through its shop. By mobilizing donors, volunteers, and partners, it seeks to help more people access opportunities and improve the well-being of their communities.
