## Description

Emory Motorsports is a family-run Porsche restoration and customization business founded by Rod and Amy Emory in 1996. Based on a three-generation tradition of automotive design and craftsmanship, the company is best known for its customized Porsche 356s, often called “Outlaws.” Its approach preserves each car’s original character and all-steel body while adding carefully considered, often rally- or race-inspired styling and improvements to drivability. Every restored 356 is equipped with an Emory-Rothsport Outlaw-4 engine, and each build is tailored to the client’s preferences, specifications, and budget.

The company restores original 356s to order, guiding clients through choices such as body style, colors, finishes, wheels, and interior materials. Its restoration process includes sourcing a donor car, metalwork, body preparation, painting, and final assembly; metalwork typically takes a 12-to-18-month restoration timeline. Emory Motorsports also occasionally restores original Porsche 911s and undertakes special projects involving significant historic competition cars. Its work includes restoration and care for notable Porsche race cars, including 904-6, 906, and 908 models, as well as the 1949 Gmund SL.
