## Description

Emotiv develops wireless EEG hardware and software that help researchers, businesses, developers, and individuals measure and interpret brain activity. Its platform supports neuroscience research, user and product studies, brain-computer interface development, brain health applications, and mind-controlled gaming, including work conducted in real-world settings beyond the laboratory.

The product range includes EEG headsets and earbuds such as EPOC X, EPOC X PRO, Flex 2.0, Insight, and MN8, offering different channel counts and form factors for varied research and development needs. Software tools include Emotiv Studio, EmotivPRO, EmotivBCI, BrainViz, and Emotiv Play. Developers can also use the Cortex API and SDK to build neuro-adaptive applications, with options for integrating Google Cloud Platform and Gemini technologies.

Emotiv serves academic and enterprise users with research tools, validated engagement metrics, and infrastructure designed for secure, scalable projects. The company states that brain data is encrypted and associated with a non-identifying reference, with users able to access or delete their data. Its products are intended for research and personal use, not medical diagnosis or treatment.
