Empatika Research is an Indonesia-based, internationally-oriented organization that specializes in people-centered approaches to research, training, and programs. Empatika specializes in immersive and participatory research, utilizing methods such as human-centered design and transformative digital storytelling. The team includes 12 Senior Researchers who have led qualitative studies in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, as well as trained local researchers in various countries. With a vision to keep programmers and policymakers in touch with people's lived realities, Empatika's mission focuses on delivering high-quality, complexity-aware research, customized training, and programs that prioritize people and their voices. The organization's core values include empathy, embracing complexity, being people-driven, and promoting equity and inclusion.
