## Description

The Employer Coalition of Louisiana is an employer-led initiative of the Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum that brings businesses and healthcare stakeholders together to improve the value of healthcare across the state. Its work focuses on making care more affordable while advancing safety, quality, and the consumer experience. The Coalition gives employers and purchasers a stronger collective voice in discussions with health plans, hospitals, and provider groups, helping members work toward lower costs and better outcomes.

Membership offers opportunities to connect with peers and partners, share knowledge, and learn practical approaches to managing health spending and engaging employees. The Coalition also provides a curated resource library featuring studies, articles, and other relevant information, alongside educational events held virtually and in person. These gatherings encourage networking and collaboration, and may feature subject matter experts and discussions on topics such as pharmacy benefit management. By fostering transparency, information sharing, and coordinated action, the Employer Coalition helps Louisiana employers build knowledge, explore effective health and well-being programs, and contribute to a more affordable, higher-quality healthcare system.
