## Description

Empower Pathways is a San Diego-based adult day program supporting adults aged 18 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they move toward greater independence and community involvement. Created through a collaboration between a father and son, the organization is rooted in compassion and a commitment to creating meaningful opportunities. It serves as a San Diego Regional Center vendor and operates in the South Bay in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing setting, with a 1:3 staff-to-participant ratio for personalized support.

The structured program runs Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Its services include life skills development, community integration and experiences, social and emotional growth, and individualized transition support. Educational, social, recreational, and community-based activities help participants build confidence, develop practical skills, and connect with their community. Empower Pathways also works with community partners to expand access to real-world experiences and skill-building opportunities. Its dedicated team aims to help each participant grow, thrive, and pursue a more independent and connected adult life.
