## Description

Empowered Together is a New Mexico-based service provider focused on supporting individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities and the families who care for them. Its mission is to help clients build skills, purpose, and independence through personalized services, professional advocacy, and family-centered partnerships. Founded by New Mexico resident Jennifer Gibbs, the organization offers a personal approach for families navigating life with a disabled loved one, aiming to provide streamlined support and individualized advocacy.

Through the Mi Via program, Empowered Together provides in-home living support and works closely with caregivers to manage timekeeping, documentation, and state invoicing. The organization also describes the Developmental Disabilities Waiver program, known in New Mexico as the traditional DD Waiver, as an upcoming service. This program is designed to help eligible children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities participate actively in their communities. Empowered Together also plans to share members-only activities, special events, and other resources. Families can contact the organization by phone at 505-333-9441 or through its website.
