Empowered Birth is a community-rooted birth support practice centered on compassionate, legacy-based care for families and aspiring doulas. It offers doula services for hospital and home births, with options tailored to different needs. The Full Doula Package includes four prenatal visits, continuous labor support, and personalized postpartum care. The Birth-Only Package includes one prenatal visit to develop a birth plan, labor support during delivery, and a postpartum check-in. The practice also provides student midwife care as a primary student midwife under the supervision of a licensed midwife, currently serving home birth families only. Through mentorship and pro-doula certification opportunities, Empowered Birth supports people pursuing birth work and aims to strengthen community-based care. The practice also shares perspectives on culturally rooted care, Black maternal health, ancestral nutrition, and womb care through a published book chapter.
