Through their Home Course, they provide families with the knowledge, support, and a community of like-minded individuals to help their loved ones grow their independence, build friendships, create their own home, and more. Additionally, they offer free learning resources on various topics such as relationships, supports, employment, planning, family, and siblings.

Founded by Eric Goll, Empowering Ability is focused on changing society's low expectations for people with developmental disabilities. Their mission is to support these individuals in becoming valued citizens and creating their own Awesome Ordinary Life. With a commitment to antiracism, they strive to address the intersection of disability, LGBTQ+, and race, and actively work towards dismantling systemic racial barriers.
