## Description

Empowering Young People (EYP) is a registered nonprofit organization based in Lake County, Florida, working to help young people across Central Florida reach their full potential. Its mission is to support youth in becoming responsible, active contributors to their communities through mentorship, education, leadership development, and community engagement. EYP serves children and teens through programs designed to build confidence, practical skills, and positive connections in a supportive environment.

Its offerings include summer camps, after-school initiatives, youth events, school visits, and athletic training, including football and exposure camps. Monthly community events for middle and high school students address youth issues and provide educational experiences. EYP also runs a Fatherhood Initiative, with mentorship and resources to help fathers strengthen their families, and welcomes volunteers who want to contribute their time and skills.

Founded by Anthony (TJ) McCoy Jr. in 2017, EYP aims to create opportunities for young people and families through programs, sports, and shared community experiences.
