## Description

TEDX, also known as The Endocrine Disruption Exchange, was a science-based nonprofit research institute dedicated to reducing the production and use of chemicals that interfere with healthy hormone function. Operating for 16 years, TEDX worked to prevent exposure to harmful chemicals as a means of promoting good health. Using systematic review methods developed by the US National Toxicology Program, TEDX addressed pressing scientific questions about chemical hazards and published the results in peer-reviewed scientific journals. They also hosted presentations and created interactive tools to communicate the work of other scientists studying endocrine disruption. In addition to their primary focus on endocrine disruption, TEDX explored the effects of other chemicals that undermine the potential of humans and animals to thrive. Their collaborative efforts extended to partnering with nonprofit organizations and sharing information with the public, policy makers, government agencies, and health conscious businesses. Although TEDX is no longer operating, their website resources will remain available to provide valuable insights into endocrine disruption and related topics.
