## Description

Endo Warriors Aotearoa (EWA) is a community-led registered charity founded in 2020 by Yessenia Sandoval. Based in Wellington and Porirua, it supports people affected by endometriosis and menstrual health challenges throughout Aotearoa. Its inclusive services welcome girls, women and people assigned female at birth, including trans men, non-binary and intersex people.

EWA provides free, confidential one-to-one support, healthcare navigation, advocacy, peer connection and practical assistance, including a support fund. Its education work offers evidence-informed information, factsheets, workshops and school sessions to help people understand endometriosis and menstrual health. The organisation also shares community stories and runs initiatives such as Chronically Fabulous, which helps people living with chronic pain and illness connect and try new experiences.

Through petitions, awareness projects and research support, EWA advocates for better endometriosis care. It distributes period products, reusable menstrual products and care packs, and invites the public to contribute through donations, volunteering, fundraising, partnerships and its shop. Its work is grounded in lived experience, community connection and practical support.
