## Description

Energiebenut is a Dutch energy-automation service designed to help households with solar panels, electric vehicles and smart home equipment reduce electricity costs with less effort. Built around Home Assistant, it connects a household’s smart meter, solar system, EV charger and compatible devices, then uses dynamic electricity prices to automate energy use. The service can schedule vehicle charging for cheaper hours, manage solar generation during negative prices, and, with supported home batteries, shift charging and discharging to suit price changes. Customers can view hourly prices and system activity through a mobile-friendly app or optional wall panel.

Energiebenut provides a DIN-rail gateway, installation and initial configuration, alongside a monthly subscription covering software updates, new automations, remote support and price-data integration. The site lists introductory hardware at €149, including installation, and a cancellable subscription at €9.95 per month. The service is presented as compatible with Home Assistant and a range of controllable devices, including supported Modbus and Ethernet-based inverters. Energiebenut is currently preparing to launch and inviting prospective customers to join its waitlist.
