## Description

Founded in 1979, Observ’ER is a leading entity in the renewable energy sector and energy transition, primarily in France and Europe. The organization focuses on various renewable energy forms, including solar photovoltaic, thermal solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal energy, heat pumps, biomass (encompassing wood energy, biogas, and biofuels), and recovery energies like waste heat.

Observ’ER operates in three key areas: publishing, research, and editorial partnerships. It publishes three quarterly magazines—the Journal des Énergies Renouvelables, the Journal du Photovoltaïque, and the Journal de l’Éolien—along with specialized issues since 2019 that address particular themes within these fields. Additionally, it provides comprehensive studies for public authorities and private partners, alongside three free monthly newsletters aimed at various stakeholders. Recognizing the importance of education, Observ’ER also offers a guide to renewable energy training programs and publishes career profiles in the sector, supporting both individual and institutional development in the renewable energy landscape.
