## Description

EC&D, or Energy Consulting & Development GmbH, is a Switzerland-based consultancy that helps organizations address energy security, climate risk, and the financing and measurement of climate-related initiatives. Its global team of specialists brings together technical, financial, and policy expertise, supporting financial institutions, governments, and companies in connecting engineering, finance, and regulation.

The firm’s services include climate finance support to make energy projects financeable and help funds reach end users; energy strategy and security advice focused on securing supply, reducing operating energy costs, and verifying savings; and impact data and measurement to assess what investments and policies achieve. EC&D also identifies sustainable solutions in workforce well-being and impact data management. Its engagements include national policy programmes, financing mechanisms, technical due diligence, and capacity-building events.

Positioning itself as a trusted guide, EC&D works across the practical and institutional challenges that can prevent climate projects from succeeding. The company is based in Zürich, Switzerland, and provides consulting services to organizations seeking more secure energy systems and measurable climate outcomes.
