## Description

The Japan Energy Pass Association is dedicated to promoting sustainable construction and energy-efficient homes across Japan. Established in 2011 by industry leaders, including Chairman Taiji Imaizumi and other esteemed board members, the association focuses on developing the Energy Pass, a tool that visually represents a building's energy efficiency. Recognizing the limitations of Japan's traditional real estate appraisal system, which often undervalues properties based on age, the association aims to redefine property assessments with a global standard of sustainable architecture.

Their offerings include training sessions for Energy Pass certification, software tools for energy calculations, and ongoing workshops to support professionals in the field. The association also engages with governmental bodies and promotes collaboration on energy policy initiatives. With a mission to enhance awareness and education on energy-efficient housing, the Japan Energy Pass Association stands at the forefront of the movement towards a more sustainable built environment in Japan.
