## Description

Alpakka Enghaugen is an alpaca breeding business based at Ringstad Gård Lille in Rolvsøy, Fredrikstad, Norway. Its breeding work began in 2006 and focuses on raising healthy, high-quality alpacas with strong pedigrees, good conformation and excellent fibre. The herd includes breeding animals, with selected stock imported from Australia to strengthen its genetics. The farm uses annual DNA testing on selected breeding animals to better understand inherited colour traits and guide breeding decisions, while keeping health and fibre quality as priorities.

Alpakka Enghaugen sells selected female alpacas and breeding males to suitable homes and breeding programmes. Because alpacas are social herd animals, females are sold in groups of at least three to buyers without an existing herd; buyers of breeding males must already have alpacas. Animals for sale may be listed through the Norwegian Alpaca Register. The website also references farm slaughter and alpaca meat. Enghaugen is not a visitor farm and does not currently offer alpaca walks or a farm shop, but visitors may view the alpacas from outside the fence.
