## Description

EnnstalWiki is a regional, volunteer-created online encyclopedia focused on the Styrian district of Liezen and the Ennstal. Its purpose is to collect and share local knowledge, with articles written, expanded, corrected, and improved by contributors. The site reports more than 18,500 articles and invites readers to explore its subject portals, category listings, alphabetical index, topic overviews, and randomly selected entries.

Its coverage ranges across geography, history, local heritage, people, sports, tourism, associations, and business. Articles and media feature regional places, landmarks, historical events, notable residents, traditions, and everyday life, supported by photographs, historical images, and videos. Examples include the Dachstein, Schladming, Admont Abbey, and Trautenfels Castle.

EnnstalWiki is a community knowledge project rather than a commercial product or service provider. It welcomes volunteers as authors, photographers, proofreaders, and other contributors. To protect the site from spam and vandalism, account creation is restricted and prospective users are asked to request a username by email.
