## Description

Entrelacs Run and Trail is a community sporting event held in Albens, in the Savoie region of France, between lakes and mountains. Its 2026 edition took place on April 5 and welcomed more than 1,800 participants across trail-running, walking and children’s activities. The event offers four trail distances to suit different abilities: a demanding 60 km mountain course, a 42 km marathon trail, a 23 km route and a 13 km introductory trail. Participants can also choose a 13 km gourmet walk, with opportunities to sample local products, or join a family treasure hunt and children’s races covering distances from 1 to 4 km.

The event combines outdoor sport with a welcoming atmosphere and a focus on enjoying the surrounding landscape. Its organizers also promote responsible participation through reusable cups and course markers, waste sorting, local and seasonal refreshments, carpooling, respect for private land, and prompt removal of trail markings. Volunteers, local partners and sponsors help make the event possible, while results and photographs allow participants to revisit each edition.
