## Description

Enver Duman’s “Denken und Bewegen” is a Taekwondo and movement education system focused on balancing physical activity with mental development and wellbeing. Its guiding principles are thinking, movement, health and love. Drawing on Taekwondo, a Korean martial art whose origins date back more than 4,000 years, Duman has developed an approach that places positive character development and a stronger sense of the body ahead of combat sport itself.

After beginning his martial arts training in 1974, Duman founded his first sports school in Burg auf Fehmarn in 1984. He continues to develop the system, incorporating contemporary needs into its training. At the Denken und Bewegen centre in Lübeck, visitors can take part in targeted, health-oriented movement activities intended to support ongoing improvements in personal wellbeing and physical and mental fitness. The centre emphasizes a warm, personal atmosphere and welcomes visitors in an informal setting. Duman’s approach encourages people to find balance amid the demands of modern life through active participation and mindful movement.
