## Description

Equinox Open Library Initiative is dedicated to enhancing access to affordable, innovative, and open-source software tailored for libraries worldwide. Established by the original developers of the Evergreen integrated library system, Equinox emphasizes integrity, privacy, and inclusivity in its mission. The organization provides a broad array of products and services, including prominent library systems like Evergreen, Koha, VuFind, and Aspen Discovery, as well as consulting, migration, hosting, and support services. As a nonprofit, Equinox focuses on building sustainable and effective solutions that address the challenges faced by libraries of all types—from public to academic and special libraries. With a seasoned team of professionals, including experienced librarians and technical experts, Equinox adopts a service as a service approach, ensuring reliable support whenever it's needed. Through its commitment to open-source principles, Equinox supports community engagement and transparency, ensuring that libraries maintain freedom of choice in their software solutions while safeguarding patron privacy.
