## Description

The European Psychiatric Association (EPA) serves as a pivotal organization dedicated to enhancing mental health across Europe. With a robust membership of over 78,000 psychiatrists spanning 88 countries, the EPA unites professionals in academia, research, and clinical practice to foster collaboration and excellence in mental health care. The association is committed to advancing the fields of research, treatment, and education in psychiatry, acting as a mediator between practitioners and public authorities on mental health policy matters.

The EPA offers a range of resources, including early career support programs, scientific congresses, training courses, and abstract submissions for ongoing research initiatives. Additionally, the association’s platform for interaction, including an EPA Forum, enables members to share knowledge and insights, thereby translating scientific research into effective clinical practices. By advocating for standards in mental health care and providing professional development opportunities, the EPA plays a crucial role in shaping the future of psychiatry in Europe and beyond.
