## Description

The EPA Alumni Association is a network of more than 3,300 former and current eligible employees of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, representing over 83,000 years of service. Its mission is to foster social and professional connections among members, support EPA staff, inform the public, and preserve institutional knowledge about the agency’s history and environmental protection work. Membership is free for former federal EPA employees and current employees eligible to retire.

The association offers educational programs through its EPA Alumni Academy, including sessions on environmental policy and issues such as wetlands protection. Members and the public can explore recordings of presentations, interviews, and discussions led by alumni and experts, as well as EPA and environmental news. The organization also connects people with resources for EPA staff and recent alumni, teachers, and members seeking ways to get involved.
