## Description

EpiCARE is a European Reference Network dedicated to rare and complex epilepsies, established in 2017 and co-funded by the European Union. Led by Pr. Alexis Arzimanoglou at the Hospices Civils de Lyon, France, EpiCARE comprises 38 full members, 12 affiliated members, and 16 collaborating members across 28 EU countries. The network focuses on delivering specialized diagnostics and care in collaboration with patient advocates to enhance outcomes for individuals with rare epilepsies.

EpiCARE's activities include a range of projects, research initiatives, and educational programs aimed at advancing understanding and treatment of epilepsy. From epilepsy surgery to collaborative genetic research, EpiCARE strives to provide comprehensive support and resources to both patients and clinicians. With a strong emphasis on innovation and collaboration, EpiCARE is at the forefront of driving progress in the field of epileptology.
