## Description

Epistle is a communication platform designed to help missionaries stay connected with ministry partners and support their work. Founded in 2015 by Frankie and Chelsea O’Rourke while they were serving in Moscow, the company was built by missionaries for missionaries. Today, Epistle supports thousands of missionaries worldwide and has delivered more than 20 million email updates.

Users create ministry updates with photos and videos, add captions, save drafts, and restore earlier versions. Epistle turns posts into emails and automatically schedules them according to each partner’s preference for daily, weekly, or monthly updates. Partners can respond with likes, prayers, comments, and giving, while missionaries can review engagement insights, including email opens and responses. The service is designed to make regular communication easier and more interactive across devices.

Epistle reports that surveyed users who post weekly experienced an average annual support increase of $5,178, with all surveyed weekly posters reporting improved partner connection. The platform costs $14 per month and offers a 14-day free trial.
