## Description

EpiStop is a Czech association working to improve life for people with epilepsy and promote understanding of the condition. Its activities combine education, practical guidance, community events and advocacy. The organization supports children, adults, women and girls with epilepsy, while also providing information for teachers, sports coaches and medical professionals. Its website explains epilepsy, seizures, triggers, diagnosis and treatment, and offers first-aid guidance and downloadable resources.

A key focus is making schools safer and more supportive for children with epilepsy. EpiStop contributes expertise to guidance for schools and offers educational courses for teachers on epilepsy, school life and sport. It also raises awareness of the needs of people with epilepsy and promotes informed support beyond clinical settings.

For adults, EpiStop runs EpicWalking, a course in Nordic walking designed to help participants exercise regularly and safely. Its annual EpicRun charity event brings people together through running and other accessible activities to support the cause.
