EqualHealth is a global brand that is dedicated to the pursuit of health equity for all through critical consciousness and movement building. They bring together health professionals, educators, and activists from around the world to fight for health equity that goes beyond borders. EqualHealth partners with organizations with their own histories and paths, all united by a shared commitment to building a global movement of social medicine educators and practitioners who tackle health inequity in their institutions and society.

Founded in 2010, EqualHealth and SocMed (Social Medicine) started their journey by offering social medicine immersion courses in Uganda and providing training partnership in Haiti after the devastating earthquake. Over the years, they have expanded their programs to include a wide range of initiatives such as the Social Medicine Consortium and the Social Medicine Alumni of Haiti. In 2020, they launched a unified EqualHealth, combining the histories, visions, and commitments of their founding organization.
