# Equestrian Crossings - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `equestriancrossings.org` ## Description Equestrian Crossings (EqX) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on Whidbey Island, established in August 2009. It describes itself as the island’s only member-run and member-operated equestrian nonprofit. EqX provides riding lessons and therapies for students aged five and older, with certified instructors offering several disciplines. The program includes Western and English riding, sport riding, adaptive riding for students with special needs, and vaulting. A distinctive feature is its integration of able-bodied and adaptive students in shared lessons, bringing students with a range of abilities together. The organization’s website shares information about its instructors, horses, lesson schedules, registration, and payment. EqX also welcomes volunteers, noting that horse experience is not required. Community members can support the organization through donations, planned giving, car donations, and shopping through its program. The website also provides news and event updates and connects with the local community through EqX’s Whidbey Island Facebook presence. Visitors can explore these resources to learn about lessons, get involved, or contribute to the organization’s work. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Horses _(under Pets and Animals)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/EquestrianCrossingsOfWhidbeyIsland) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idO8Aq1EGH/w/240/h/144/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792862659763) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idO8Aq1EGH/w/147/h/147/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792862659934) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Broom | #f0ff21 | accent | | Bahama Blue | #006496 | dark | | Cherokee | #fdd79a | light | ## Fonts - Oswald — asset _(google)_ - Nunito — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
