## Description

EQUI en soi is an equine-focused wellbeing and personal development practice led by Karine, an experienced riding instructor and equine mediation and coaching practitioner. Its approach centres on the horse’s sensitivity to body language, emotions and personal space, helping people reconnect with their senses, clarify their needs and build more harmonious relationships. Sessions are open to riders and non-riders, and are offered with Karine’s horses, Bucéphale and Quastor, or with a participant’s own horse. Equestrian support includes relationship assessments, private lessons, groundwork, lunging, long-reining, liberty work and gentle backing. Personal development sessions use interaction with horses to explore confidence, emotional awareness, communication and social connection, including challenges such as loss of direction, burnout and eco-anxiety. EQUI en soi also runs small-group workshops on topics including nonviolent communication, clicker training, equine biomechanics, mindful riding, sensory awareness and emotional intelligence. The practice is rooted in respect for nature and people, and welcomes visitors by appointment at an eco-place in Les Essarts-le-Roi.
