## Description

Equitinus is an equestrian instruction and horse-care business led by Leontine van Ewijk in Schijf, the Netherlands. With more than 40 years of experience in the horse world, Leontine combines her background as a Grand Prix dressage rider and certified ORUN Level 4 instructor with work as a laser and Equissage therapist, strategic horse manager, and horse-feed seller.

Equitinus offers private riding lessons at the client’s location and occasional clinics, from basic riding through Grand Prix level. Instruction focuses on the rider as well as the horse, helping clients develop awareness, feel, knowledge, and enjoyment while building trust and a stronger partnership. The approach emphasizes clarity, honesty, relaxation, and the horse’s health, and welcomes riders across disciplines and experience levels.

Additional services include massage and laser therapy using Equissage and a Powerlaser PL 1500 Pro, plus tailored feed and management advice following a visit. Equitinus also sells Florian Horsefood products through Florian Boutique and hosts clinics with specialist partners at its Schijf base.
