Equity Through Literacy is a brand committed to empowering communities through literacy. They recognize the importance of parental involvement in fostering organic reading practices for children, especially during the crucial early years and throughout their academic journey. With a mission to bridge the literacy gap, Equity Through Literacy provides tangible resources to parents and families.

Their primary focus is getting engaging age-appropriate books into the hands of children. In response to the inequalities exacerbated by the pandemic, they have collaborated with community organizations and donated over 12,000 books to under-resourced communities in Los Angeles. They have also distributed backpacks filled with books and school supplies to children in grades PreK-12th.

Beyond books, Equity Through Literacy has worked with food banks, essential product companies, and local nonprofits to provide support to families in need. They offer a range of resources, including printable literacy materials and family-focused strategies called Lit Tips.
